Baltimore City, MD (Box 4-5) 2nd-Alarm Dwelling Fire 1/17/2013
#1
On Thursday evening Jan.17, 2013 just before midnight Jan.18, north Baltimore City fire companies were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire in the 4800-block of Crowson Avenue between Radnor & Charter Oak Avenues just west of York Road adjacent to Loyola University in the Govans neighborhood. 29 Truck's lieutenant arrived first in from the Northwood firehouse at E. Coldspring Lane reporting a 2 1/2 story wood-frame house fully involved of heavy fire spreading to the house next-door(side delta) and immediately requested a 2nd alarm. Both houses were occupied dwellings and everyone made it out safely. One occupant was transported to Good Sam Hospital for smoke inhalation. No other threats or injuries were reported. It took nearly 3 hours for firefighters to bring the blaze under control. The cause is under investigation at this time.

It took me not even five minutes to get there as I just shot straight down York Road, but unfortunately it took me longer to get out of my house before leaving which made me probably miss seeing the actual fire...
