Yonkers, NY FD
Yonkers FD former Ladder 71, a 1999 American LaFrance 75' (ALF Serial # 9706819), has reached the end of the line. It spent 9 years as a front line piece, and the rest as a spare, seeing countless multiple alarm fires, accumulating 57,743 miles and 1401 hours. It was purchased by a local scrap yard for $6500 , and will be scrapped next week

The former Yonkers FD Ladder 71, a 198? Mack CF/Aerialscope 75', at Yonkers Raceway awaiting the city surplus vehicle auction in 2005. Not sure what happened to the rig after that.

Yonkers FD Engine 305, a 1994 Sutphen 1000/500 is seen here pumping at a multiple alarm fire on Elm St in April of 2004. Before becoming a spare, it formerly served as Engine 303.
