The Wagon Masters Ride
#1
This 1960 Maxim 85ft "service" Aerial Ladder is owned by my family. Purchased in 1960 by the America Hose Hook and Ladder Company No. 2 in Bristol Pa, this truck served until 1986 when it was replaced by a 106ft Hahn Firespear. Powered by a Waulkesha Gasoline Engine, coupled to a 5 speed overdrive tranny. It orginally had a 250gpm pump, but driver error at a fire blew the pump and dropped the rear. My grandfather purchased it in 1987 from the Fire Company and it has been with us ever since. All the original equiptment is still on the truck, from the wooden ground ladders, to the orignal life belts, to all the turnout gear and helmets in the compartments.

Very nice looking truck. It is in good, original condition. That boob judge at the recent muster you were at ought to have his pin head examined.

I got to tell you, I am not really a big fan of fire trucks going back that far, that being said, that is one hell of a nice looking truck, but if what Lindsay said is true, you should've at least kicked the judge in the shin <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />
