As we all know there was a mass shooting last night here in Las Vegas. Since I live in Las Vegas I wanted to let everybody know I am safe. I did not know about this shooting till this morning.
I was sitting on my patio having a smoke and a cup of coffee. when my upstairs neighbor came down on her way to work and told me about the mass shooting.
Like always I have to say that over the past few hours I have seen the best of Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Metro Fire Departments (Clark County Fire Department, Las Vegas City Fire Department, City of North Las Vegas Fire Department, and the Henderson Fire Department), the private ambulance companies (AMR, Medic West, and Community), Las Vegas Metro Police, Nevada State Patrol, North Las Vegas Police, UNLV Police, and Henderson Police. And private citizens. They all showed what they are made of during this.
As of right now we have 59 dead and 527 injured. I talked with one of our vendors and he said one of the guys he works with his daughter was one of the wounded. She is 20 and she has bullet fragments in her spine. My bosses daughter works on the Strip and she was up all night.
The text chain at work was in full force and thank god everybody I work with is safe. I am sad that a off duty Las Vegas Metro Police officer lost his life last night. I pray for the two that were shot during this. Put most of all I pray for the families of those who were injured or killed. Vegas stepped up to the plate and are doing what they need to do.
I JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION, WHEN WILL ENOUGH BE ENOUGH. WHEN WILL WE HAVE A GOVERNMENT THAT WILL DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STOP THIS STUFF?
The Las Vegas Strip was a war zone last night and this morning.
I am sorry I am really angry and I am sad. My thoughts are everywhere and I hate seeing this happen to my city. This evil guy had over 40 firearm between his hotel room and home. Once again sorry.
