Is it me or is it the first time in maybe 30 years since anyone in the american market has used a municipal apparatus chassis for a ARFF rig other than the usual structure engines and ladders on am airport ? maybe someone can shed some light on this?

I'd like to see one in a normal paint scheme, probably a pretty nice looking rig if so.

An industry person told me this will unfortunately be marketed Internationally, as it will not meet FAA specs here.  It meets ICAO specs, which fall under the UN.
