Portland, 2 Houses on fire, 11-26-13

Dispatch transmitted a box for a fire in the vicinity of 92nd Ave. and Foster Rd.

About 1 minute later, they transmitted a box for an apartment fire in the 6900 block of Cooper St., about 8 blocks from the first fire.

It turned out to be a vacant house at 6914 SE 91st. Ave.

First due Engine 11 reported heavy fire extending to a second house. The exposure was only the siding and did not extend into the attic, as originally feared. Both box assignments remained on the scene for a short time.
