I realize it's been 20+ years but we bought a 75' quint and a 1500 gallon engine tanker for$ 844,000 back in 2000 and that would not even touch replacing the the quint now days...

I was at one of the Pierce Road Shows 3 weeks ago. They had one of the Ascendant mid mount platforms there for everyone to demo. 1.3 million for it. My Dept bought a 22 ft walk around heavy rescue back in 19. 550K. A neighboring dept just signed a contract on a side mount pumper that was 560K! It's ridiculous.

So apparently Pierce painted this rig the wrong shade of red and a new one has been built and soon to be delivered to Pasadena, The rig pictured in the photo above has been sold to San Bernardino FD.
