Does Anyone Know the History of this ALF Century?

This is a 1978 American Lafrance Century. I was told it originally served Austin, Texas and then was sold to the Hoover Valley VFD. It was then sold to a collector.


The manufacturing date is 6/78 and the MSN is CE-12-6075.

Thank you. At some point, it ended up in service with the Hoover Valley VFD northwest of Austin, Texas. She is alive and well; still running, driving, and pumping; and is in the hands of a private collector.

I certainly do.  CE-12-6075 was delivered to the LaSalle,IL FD and is a 1978  1500 gpm pump - 500 gallon tank. I will scan a neg shortly so we can compare.
