1974 American Lafrance Pacemaker
#1
Help needed:

Twords the end of last year I had started a thread looking for our old 1974 Pacemaker.  Someone (who had worked at the old New Lexington plant in Pa) had replyed with the name of the dealer from Alabama who purchased it.  I have since lost his name and telephone number.

Gap Fire Company  Lancaster County Pa

1974 American Lafrance Pacemaker

Any help with the name of the dealer would be a huge help!

Thanks in advance

Chris

There are three used apparatus dealers in Alabama that I am aware of:

Buddy Gray, Tuscaloosa

Good Hope, Cullman

Brindlee Mountain (www.bmfallc.com)

Chris,

It was I that gave you that information.

Roger "The Judge" Estep was the Salesman of Record for your New Lexington rig at the time. The ALF was sold to Buddy Gray, Buddy who is legally blind arrived with his wife the day we took the new rig to your station. I believe the deal to sell the ALF was struck later that night.

I know the ALF spent some time at our factory pending transportation to Buddy. I believe I may have a couple of photos of it sitting at New Lexington.

The only phone numbers I have is Buddy's house and a cell phone from way back in the mid 1990's...........

I'll dig them out and send them to you again.

Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.

When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!
