FDNY Firefighter Dies After Fall From Bucket

A Firefighter from Ladder 135 fell from the roof of a multi-family home in Queens while battling two-alarm fire earlier this afternoon. <b>The NY Daily News is reporting this to be an LODD. </b>
The FDNY says the fire broke out in a multi-family dwelling on Putnam Avenue in Ridgewood <span>on Thursday</span> afternoon. Reports are that the Firefighter was gravely injured after attempting to get into a tower ladder bucket from the roof and then falling 5 stories. We will have much more. Prayers to everyone involved.
