Food On The Stove, Henderson, NV 9-27-2014

Working for apartment complexes you get use to and dread the fire department coming on property. I know I always do. Today was no exception as I watched Rescue and Engine 94 of the Henderson Fire Department pull onto property. I thought that it was a medical call and then I heard more sirens and watched as Engine 95 pulled into the complex.

 

I went and found that Engine 94 was in front of Building 13 and went around the corner and found the members of Rescue 94 getting into their gear. As I parked I watched the crew of Engine 94 pull a cross lay and head up the stairs. The only thing that was strange was that I did not see any smoke, thank god. I started knocking on doors and trying to get people out of the building along with Henderson Police.

 

I was able to get a few pictures of the Henderson Fire Department in action. But here is what caused the whole mess.

 

And the resident tried to deny that they had left a pot on the stove till the Captain of Eng 94 stated that she pulled the pot off the burner and turned the burner off. Then things changed.
