Didn't mean to post it on the wrong forum like I did (apparatus scuttlebutt).

 

My suspicion is that Danko knew ahead of time.  The two (Danko/Smeal) seem so interlaced I'm sure they knew.

Smeal and Danko used to have an unofficial agreement that they wouldn't compete on product lines....for example...brush trucks....Danko builds brush trucks so Smeal wouldn't.

Snyder is a really, really small town. I think with all these acquisitions it may get a little better if Smeal starts consolidating operations.

Snyder is very small!  Danko is just down the street by the FD.
