First, big time kudos to everyone involved with helping the victims of this awful tragedy, from the London Fire Brigade to hundreds of people who came with food, clothing, etc. for people who lost everything.
Now the rant...
...I'm horrified to read that this was a preventable fire in so many ways. People reported safety concerns for YEARS and it all fell on deaf ears. WHY? Sure, complaining isn't going to bring back anyone who lost their lives, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
How many thousands of buildings around the world are clad in similar materials that could become the next chapter in this mess?
