Denver Fully Involved RV 6/2/13
#1
At 20:54 Denver Firefighters were dispatched to an RV fire.  Companies could see a header while responding.  First arriving Engine 12 was in a reserve and due to a mechanical failure was unable to pump water.  An additional Engine Co. was special called and the fire was contained without any extension to exposures.  Photos courtesy of District Chief 2, Dave McGrail and used with permission.

That RV fire was probably as big of a dollar loss as a lot houses!

Any back story?  Looks like an odd place for such a coach to be.  I'm hearing rumblings folks that are upside down on these types of vehicles are burning them to get out from under them....

Arson investigators were called, based off of location I'm sure it wasn't an accidental fire.

The DC is friend of mine and we recently went out and bought a good camera that he can easily carry in his bunkers.  I'm trying to convince him to roll video and leave it on the dash when he's at a structure fire and too busy to take pics... we'll see if he's able to in the future!
