Mishawaka IN 2nd Alarm 2-11-13
#1
Address: 500 S Union Street

"Fire Dispatch, Station 1, rush traffic!"
"Station 1."
"Send a full response to the old RMG Warehouse behind our station, we have heavy fire showing!"
That's how it started, with this vacant warehouse fully involved within minutes due to low hydrant pressure and high winds. Companies tried to protect an exposure building, but to no avail. A 2nd alarm brought apparatus from South Bend and St Joseph County.

Delta Side with Station 1 just out of view on the right. This shot was taken after the police chased me out of my previous position.

I don't believe so, it was the plant north of that one, next to the railroad tracks.

If you used a high ISO (1600 or 3200) you should have had better results.

Stopped back today to see the ruins, but PD still had the area cordoned off, so this was the best I could do.

Truck 1 still spraying down hot spots, with Station 1 right there on the left.
