The Portland Fire Museum has a "no photography policy" but the retired firefighters giving tours that day allowed an exception.

  Yes, there are signs posted saying "no photography" which I found very strange for a fire museum.

When I visited the Fire Museum they said the reasoning was is they didn't want pictures out there so people would get an idea of what to steal.
