I took a class this week with the Auburn Indiana Fire Chief teaching. I asked him how they like their new Sutphen Quint. He said it was working great. I asked who bought the old Ex FDNY tower ladder. He said they listed it for sale and no takers. He said he drove it to the local scrap yard and sold it for scrap $7,000.00. Here is a pic of the tower ladder.

That's a crime. How much did they want for it. We had a '73 that i would love to save but can't.

If they indeed got $7000 for scrap it was a blessing.
