Rope Rescue in Portland 4-20-15
#1
About 17:45, Truck 7 was returning from covering Gresham Sta. 71. As they were turning into the rear driveway of Sta. 7

they were dispatched to assist Eng. 29 on 122nd Ave. at Johnson Creek. They continued through the station and out the front door,

pausing for me to get in.

A man had fallen about 40 feet down the steep bank of the creek. Fortunately he stopped just short of the fast flowing water.

Eng. 29 set up a low angle rope system and Truck 7 took their Stokes stretcher down to the victim who did not appear to

have serious injuries.

Nice Shots. I always like seeing something other than a structure fire. We don't get to see many photo sets of something like this. I like how they used the tire of the truck to make an point for the operation.

Thanks for sharing.
