Recently while on vacation i was shooting with my Nikon D5100. I put it away and later took it out to take some more photos. I found that it would not take a picture. I looked some more and found it would not auto focus. I am using a 18-200 lens. I think my lens auto focus motor stopped working. When I got home i put mu 18 - 55 lens on it and it seems to work fine but cant really tell if the auto focus is working.
With the 18 - 55 it never really gets out of focus to see if its working.
Has anyone had the same problem and can suggest a possible fix other than sending in the lens. Maybe while in my bag i bumped a button or a setting got changed.
