6/07/14 High Angle Rope Rescue. Gresham,OR
#1
At about 3:15am Engine 71 was dispatched to a single car MVA at the request of police. While enroute dispatch came on the air and updated Engine 71with information from police that the patient was down a 50' down embankment inside a rock quarry. Engine 71 arrived a couple minutes later and assessed the situation and asked for the Technical Rescue Team. Come to find out the patient hit a telephone phone pole about 500' down the road and ran on foot from the neighbors. He jumped a fence ran about 10' and fell into the pit at the quarry.
