Someone most likely already though this and researched it, but it looks like it could be an ex- LA County rig that has been sold and refurbed... Just a thought

just to add my two cents and if im wrong now i am sorry in advance. there was a company that rented apparatus to movie companies. a mid 70's Seagrave was purchased from that company and has been lettered for memphis tn it can be viewed in members thread. ok enough with that, but what i remember reading on here was that the same company purchased a 4 door Seagrave that was from montgomery county md and it kinda resembles that engine, montgomery county ran a few of thoses as well as prince george's county. again sorry for butting in and if im wrong i apologise in advance.

Did a little research & found out that it is a movie rig. Belongs to fireinmotion.net . Same outfit that owns/owned former LACoFD Q104 (Crown).

Interesting it was at this years most recent American Heroes Air Show manned and being used for LZ ops by where they were giving people helicopter rides.

Vehicle used by San Gabriel Battalion5 while leading Strike Team 1204A on the Crown Fire.



Strike Team 1204A was comprised of Monrovia Engine 101, Arcadia Engine 105, San Gabriel Engine 52, Alhmabra Engine 74, Monterey Park Engine 61, Strike Team Leader Trainee San Gabriel Battalion 5, Strike Team Leader Monrovia Battalion 10.



The crown fire was large wildfire in the North Los Angeles County community of Palmdale.

Engine 128 will be in a NCIS:LA episode lettered for LACoFD. 128 is also a NEWER Seagrave. 228 is the unit shown. 428 is a Crown Squrt. And he has a Medic Ambulance 428 I think as well.

How much room do they have between the ladder and top of door opening? Does the front bumper hit the pavement on entering and leaving?

There's quite a few inches of room between the ladder and the door, The middle bay of the station was raised when Station 101 was renovated, That's as low as the bumper comes tot he ground when the truck leaves the station.
