Great shot of the B-17!!!! My Grandfather was a tail gunner during WWII on a B-17 and those are some awesome old warbirds.

Sun or no sun, still a great shot.
I like this shot of the Aerostars...it looks like 2 planes but there are really 3 if you look closely...the formation was dead on perfect!!!

We all know they had a job to do and under extremely hostile conditions, but they must have felt the same sense of "I'm responsible for these guys making their target safely" that we have of our crews on the fire ground. |
