Jack Lerch was our "tour guide" at The Rock. This rig had just come in and, if I remember correctly, was one of three ordered. It is a 2010 Sterling/? as a Mobile Training Vehicle 1 #SD10001. This is the last photo to post from this day of shooting. Next up will be a bunch of CT rigs once I get them sorted.

Ok, July 15th, Waterbury, CT. A bunch of us from destined for the Quinn-a-Thon converged on parts of CT for apparatus photos. First up, again under mostly cloudy skies, is Waterbury, CT. First up, from oldest to newest is the Collapse Unit. It's a 1987 Ford/Pierce Correll.

Truck 5 is this 1990 Spartan/Simon-Duplex/LTI 0/0/105' Ladder. The truck was originally equipped with a 1250 gpm pump and a tank but it has been removed. All that remains, supposedly, is the pump panel face. It was acquired by Waterbury from a lot at a time when they were badly in need of a couple of rigs.

Waterbury's 2005 Freightliner M2/Pierce Contender. There are a bunch of these around the state and they are a state issued rig. Some departments put their own graphic and lettering on them, some don't. I think their intent is to be used to haul a large decontamination trailer. They are called "Prime Movers".

Wolcott, CT has a paid department and we were able to shoot quite a bit of it. First is Brush 1, a 1985 Chevrolet/Local 170/250 rig.

Next, let's mosey over to Bradley Int'l Airport in Windsor Locks, CT. One of my favorites was this older rig, Engine 110, a 1984 Pierce Dash 1250/500 Pumper, GSO#E2319.
