Pleasant Hill, NC showed off their new KME engine, delivered only days before this year's parade. As you can see, it's not even in service yet. This is very similar to what Jonathan Creek, NC (my FD) will be taking delivery of this time next year.

If only I coulda moved a light pole, a tree and about 50 firefighters, this would have been a better shot...

Warrensville, NC must have an interesting fleet. Last year they brought a 2000's Kenworth T-300 with a mid-80's E\-One midi-pumper body remounted on it. This year they brought this truck! Warrensville is definitely on my to-visit list. Too bad they are a long way from me.

I also love the firefighter kneeling at the Cross on the rear compartment door of Warrensville's engine. I have all the respect in the world for someone who will stand up and proudly show their faith in Christ. Especially a fire department that will put a Christian symbol of some kind on their trucks or their patch! Matthew 10:32 says "Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in heaven."
