Copter 15 coming in for a landing. The guys in nomex blue kneeling down as Copter 15 sets down is Crew 9-2 they were called away later in the day to respond aboard Copter 15 to a brush fire.

Yes Phenix did the squad bodies although there are some Superintendent trucks running around built by a different vendor

As of Oct 1 2010 Fire Station 167 in Battalion 10 located in the City of El Monte has reopended, Squad 166 has moved as is now Squad 167 and Engine 167 is back as well, Engine 167 is running a reserve engine and will be one of the first stations to get one of the new KME Engine's.

Does LA County like their KME's? I rarely hear bad stuff about them....

A Firefighter Specialist drives it around. It usually goes out with the USAR task force although there are times where it can roll on its own to an incident.

HR 103 is as mentioned above manned with a crew of two but is rarely ever dispatched by itself, The rest of USAR TF 103 will also respond, HR 103 will however respond solo if the response is in the North County wityh USAR TF 130.



The KME's have had there share of problems but seem to be working well for the County.
