Another view of Harbor Charlie. As is tradition in the NYPD all harbor units are named after officers who have died in the line of duty.PO Kenny Hanson was a second generation member of the NYPD and a member of the scuba team of the Harbor patrol. This photo was taken one week shy of the 20th anniversary of PO Hanson's death. He was acting as a victim during a training exercise off Battery Point when he went under. His body was recovered the next day. His was the first NYPD funeral I went to.

Apprently NYPD has an official, marked mobile "Shredder Unit" Unknonwn if it is equipped with lights and siren

Never seen it at FBF. Aviation (dba "Air Sea Rescue") flies with two divers. My guess also goes with Brooklyn.
