Took this photo on Mamie at Jackson during "Hurricane Elvis" when a Tornado struck Midtown Memphis during the heat of the summer of 2003. There was wide spread power outage across Memphis and parts of Shelby Co for several days.
The tornado struck the day before this fire. MFD was overhwelmed with house fires and other situations.

Im out of the loop for now, living in Millington. Kind of hard to get to anything living this far out unless its a ripper in Raleigh or Frayser. I cant even pick up the vocals out here all that great, so only way I find out if there is a fire is if someone calls me.
