Quote:Antioch IL 1973 Pirsch 86C #3068 Each custom "Pirsch Safety Cab" was hammered out by hand in the Pirsch factory on a wooden mold from 1959 until around 1980. It was discontinued and replaced by a standard TCM cab because of cost and build time. The serial number listed would indicate that this apparatus indeed had a custom Pirsch chassis. Pirsch apparatus on commercial chassis would have a two letter/two digit number, like those on the Mack CF rigs you posted. Quote:Antioch IL 73 Pirsch compartment That's a different apparatus.

That is the best looking Cairo rig I have seen in a long time. Last time there only thing running was an ex city pickup truck with Cairo FD spray painted on the door. Engine and ladder were both out of service

is this one Cairo Illinois, or Cairo Georgia? I have it as Georgia, but I might have made a typo in my list, as the rig immediately before this one was from Georgia.
