Within the next week, the City of Arnold will advertise it for sale by sealed bid. I was told yesterday that a scrap dealer will be bidding on it for scrap.

Saw this sitting in a stone parking lot at some kind of recycling place on Route 40 in New Jersey while I was on my way home from Wildwood this weekend.
It is a 1974 C-Model Ford/Great Eastern Fire Apparatus. It says Glassboro on the door. Was for sale asking $8,000.00 or OBO.

Yep, Its a 1949 Mack L from Spencer,NC. I have a shot of it from last years' fire show in Spencer but it is a film shot and I don't have access to a scanner at the moment. I believe Andrew posted a shot of this truck last year.

This one Benjy and I found on a recent photo trip in Cleveland County,NC. The house that we found this rig at looked like it should be featured in the TV show American Pickers, this guy had all kinds of old cars, lawn mowers and assorted junk around, making a decent picture impossible. Nevertheless, here is what we found; if anyone has an in-service shot I'd love to see it.

Thanks Bruce and Frank! I don't know how it got into Cleveland County, but the owner was looking to sell it. Unfortunately, it is probably too far gone and rusted away to do anything with. Also, I will send you those full size shots this afternoon Frank.
