Does Kansas State use this for events ? I know here in memphis there is a antique pumper that has been painted blue that shows up to all the University of Memphis football games and some basketball.

Yes it does go with it's owners to KSU Football tailgating, it also is used to hang a giant flag over the street during parades, its privately owned, the decals are just ordinary KSU magnetic decals

Mission, KS Fire District 1/ Mission Fire Department INC. 1957-1989

Mission was consolidated into Consolidated Fire District 2 in 1989

Consolidated Fire District 2 1989-1990



54ft Squirt Retro in 1969 at Snorkel in St. Joesph, MO just north of KC.

Remained in Service until 1990 sold to a department in AZ and the motor failed during delivery.



One of only two American LaFrance 800 Series to serve Johnson County, Kansas. The other 800 was at Leawood.

First Fully Custom pumper in Johnson County, Kansas. Delivered with a Red Sterling model 30 Siren Light on the roof.



Mission 1954-1971 (replaced by a new ALF 1000 Series Chieftain)

South Park FD 1971-1976 (Loaned to South Park)(Overland Park Annexed SP in 76)

Mission 1976-1982 (Reserve Engine)

Retired in 1982 (replaced by a new ALF Century Series Chieftain)

Maybe in Oklahoma now
