Paterson,NJ 1930 Ahrens-Fox 75' TDA #-2047 Ex- Hastings , NY sold to Paterson in 1948 D.Adelman photo
I wonder if this is the 1930 A-F tiller that was sold to the P.O.L. Fire Co. 2 of nearby Wayne Township about 1960? At the time the 25 square mile township was just shy of 30,000 population, now about 60,000. P.O.L. replaced it in 1970 with a Maxim straight aerial they acquired from Delaware. In 2009, their A-F was located in Hegins, Pennsylvania, which I understand they are in the process of getting it back, maybe it is already. The official name of the company is Property Owners Leage. Here is a link to pic of it in Wayne at the I'm From Wayne NJ Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2...6200468926

Paramus,NJ 1939 Seagrave 500 Gpm Sytsma Photo
I'm thinking that this Seagrave might be the one that Paramus meticulously restored over a number of years starting in the early 1970's, taking it to parades with a sign proclaiming that it was a work in progress. Their patience and dedication to the project resulted in a magnificent restoration.
