FDNY Reserve engines are numbered in the 500's. Fully loaded. Kept like this for major emergencies.
Spares are totally stripped. It's always fun taking everything off your rig (hose and all) at 3 am and putting it on a spare. Notice the flourescent green elbows. They are supposed to stay on the rig at all times, and painted that way so they are not "mistakenly" taken off. lolol Companies carry magnetic numbers to stick on a spare so ya know who it is. If they keep the rig for a long time (Sorry to say, is more the norm nowadays) numbers are made out of duct tape. E-3 is running a spare. Gotta love it. Stay safe, Brothers.
Kill 'em all, let Allah sort 'em out. NEVER forget 9/11/01 WTC, Pentagon, Pa. Avenge the acts with NO mercy.
Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.
