I shot the next three photos back in 2000 with an old Nikon Coolpix 950 on a very cloudy day.

This rig is still in service at the downtown station. I believe that the following apparatus are housed at the downtown station:

- Emergency One/Bronto Quint (white over red)

- Spartan/Smeal Quint (lime green)

- Spartan/Crimson Engine (white over red)

- Ford/Alexis Tanker (lime green)

- Ford/Smeal or Ford/Welch reserve engine (lime green)

- Two or three medic units (white over red)

At the time of the photo this rig was running as the engine out of the downtown station. It has since been relocated to Station 4 in the Chancy neighborhood. The Chancy station is currently being renovated. This single bay station is being expanded into a three bay station. Upon completion it will be redesignated as Station 2 and one of the medic units from Downtown along with two firefighters will be moved into the renovated station.

If I recall correctly this rig was delivered in 1992 or 1993 to serve as the department's tanker. At some point prior to 2000 it was sent back to Alexis to have additional compartments added and upgrades to the pump completed. I believe that these changes were made so that it could serve as a reserve engine if needed. Clinton generally runs two-person companies at the outlying stations so the lack of a crew cab wasn't a big concern.

The first photo shows the rig after being refurbished. The second photo is a photo that I took at a fire in the early 1990's prior to the truck being rebuilt.

That's all the Clinton photos that I access to right now. I've seen other photos from Clinton on this board so perhaps someone will repost what they have.
