Chuck took in a few jobs when he was in the City. In Chicago i think they would say htis company was "led out." Don't know if there is a similar expression in FDNY.

I love the individual touches on these rigs like the numbers. Also the subway strapes and cover over the rear step (tailboard is what we used to call it in Texas). I'm old enough to remember when you could ride back there.

Can anyone confirm for me. I was told that FDNY has a good amount of Humm V's at the navy yard off Kent Ave. I was told they all look new and painted up.

Thanks

G'Day,

I know i have posted before here but can't track down the post and am now staying in a different part of town. I am in NYC for 10 days and was just after any tips on stations nearby and also locations for more interest apparatus (Mask Services, Communications, New Batt Chiefs and NYPD ESU etc) i am staying at 51st and Park and think Engine 8/Ladder 2 is my closest here.

I tried google maps but searching FDNY and NYPD brings up so many unrelated things and not much i am looking for.

Thanks
