Did Baltimore ever run this rig or was it a very similar one?

The Baltimore County FD had several B's with canopy cabs and non-compartmented rear fenders.

I wonder if this was originally Millbourne, PA's minipump? Theirs was totally identical except theirs was lime. Had the ladder rack and the Q on the front bumper.

MrFWDSeagrave,

It is not Millborne's - theirs went upstate NY - no longer in service there.

Scott, The B Macks from each place are somewhat different, UMC's 63 has fully compartmented rear fenders, none of Rockville's B's had this compartmentation.

Let me also add that I belive this is the B Model that Upper Montgomery had a winch in a compartment at the back step and ran all Auto Accidents with. I drove it one day on a standby to a crash way on the other side of Poolesville.

The 1963 from Upper Montgomery and a 1956 from Rockville would later serve the Potomac Valley VFD in Washington County,MD. thru the mid-80's, both were sold to a collector from New Windsor,MD.

Joe , I have this as a 250 GPM, take a look at the seat and pump assembly on your post, and then compare with post #1569. Damascus bought the Chevy 4x4 chassis in 1956, this mess stayed in service at least into 1973. and was probably replaced by the 1976 Ford F-600 4X4/Saulsbury.I have the same pic and wonder where Damascus got it...
