I'm curious if this "Engine 3" is a designated spare or assigned to the fire academy. In Clark County, Engine 3 is a Las Vegas station assignment.

It along with Engine 4 and Engine 1 are lettered for the Training Center, and when I go by the training center almost every day they sit in the middle.

I don't think there is an Engine 218 anymore. My understanding was that when 33's opened just up the street, "E-218" moved to station 33 and became E-33. The CBRN engine that had been E-18 moved to 33 and the regular Quantum that was E-218 became E-18. Confused yet? As for the dualling T-18's. I think the picture of the Tower is T-18. I'm almost positive the 75' stick (single rear Wheel set) is T-16. With it being a cell picture it is impossible to tell whether or not that is a 6 or 8 but T-16 had the only Ferarra Truck in the county and that is a Ferarra body. I saw it at station 16 last week and it was still T-16 as of then. Not that they couldn't move it, but can't imagine them moving it to the strip area. I also think it has been explained...but the County engines with the 1-4 are all Training engines. And hey......thanks for all the pics!

Dave - This rig looks like it has some design features not common to the other CCFD Quantums (not including the CBRNE engines) - Rescue-style body, roll up compartment doors and the heavy duty front bumper. Any idea why it's like that? Engine 32 is the City Center rig, correct? I wonder if they spec'd it differently because of the area it's in.

Just curious.

Engine Company 32 at the Budget Suites on Tropicana Ave and Polaris. They were there on a medical call for a lady passed out due to intoxication.

This is the first decent picture of Rescue 32 that I have been able to take. They were on a call.
