Took Saturday and headed to Virginia Beach for the day. I got this Pierce Dash 105' quint 2000/500.

Wow I remember how to post! I need to mark that on the calender.Here is so trucks from my vacation,didn't get any info but they are pictures none the less.Onawa,Iowa runs this HME/Central States(?) which someone else owned and wrecked and Onawa bought and refurbed.

My next stop was Akron,Iowa where this Freghtliner/Smeal calls home.

Akron also ran this unit which the aerial looks alot likean old Smeal but I could not find any plate on this truck so maybe someone know more about it.

On to Sturgis,South Dakota and their fleet on Rosenbaurer trucks.

Sturgis had Central States remove the Pierce body from the chassis that now serves as the rescue and remounted on this Spartan.

Terry, The aerial looks like the same one we shot in 2009, in Orange City, IA.



It is a 1985 Chevy C70/Smeal 750/300, with a 1969 Smeal 65-foot aerial. It was replaced in 2010 with a new/used aerial.

Minquas Fire co. of Newport,De. runs this 2011 Pierce Arrow XT with a Saulsbury box(1995 I think).
