I don't think they worked out too well in Charlotte, They only lasted about 5 years before getting rid of them. I'm hoping L18CLFD will chime in as his company (Ladder 18) used to run one of the AI towers. Ladder 16 now serves Windsor,VT, don't know where Ladder 18 ended up.

I also believe the rigs for Charlotte were the first 85' tower ladders made by AI.
