Ironically the Cypress County rig has the striping pattern and design for the Cypress Creek Fire Department outside Houston who designed it.

The city of Delta, B.C. is located south of the Fraser River and is in what was once called the Greater Vancouver Regional District, a group of communities surrounding Vancouver. Delta recently placed an engine and ladder tower in service. Both units were manufactured by Smeal and delivered by the local Smeal dealer, Safetek. I managed to photo the ladder recently. Tower 3 in Delta is a 2010 Smeal Spartan Gladiator with 1764/350/20A/30B and 100'ladder.

I thought I would post some other apparatus from Delta, starting with this little rescue, shop # 7008, a 1962 Custom Engineering Chevrolet which ran as R-1 way back.

At one time, E-21, shop # 7011 in Delta was a 1969 Thibault GMC with 840/500 specs. This apparatus was supposed to be the first diesel powered engine in these parts.
