The Pennsylvania State Fire Academy located here in Lewistown, PA. has recently taken delivery of two new units. Tower 10 is listed below, with information. Engine 10 was unable to be photographed yet because tools are being mounted. It is a 2010 KME Panther 1250/500.

A while ago the State had an old USAF R-2 Rescue truck... anyone have a good shot of it???
Just returned from a short trip to Florida. Had a blast with friends, and photographed a decent amount of apparatus. The Florida brothers/sisters were great as usual. Here are just a few. All of the photos will show up on my site within the next week.
St. Petersburg has another Sutphen engine, a twin to 3, at Station 10. They were busy with station duties when we stopped, and were unable to move it for photos. Worked out though, because as we crossed the street they got toned out for a working building fire. On a side not, St. Petersburg has 2 more engines, and 1 tower on order from Sutphen.
We did good! Great shots, I can't wait to till April! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Commish, Thanks for the info. Not sure where I got 55' from.
Joe, We made it into Tampa. We shot Engine 5, and Rescue 5. I mentioned your name to the driver on the engine. He said he knew ya. I just never got a name. We tried 18, but they got a EMS run. Shortly after that they dispatched a working building fire, which took most of Tampa away. It was a busy day on that side of the coast. Pinellas Park and Tampa had working fires within 5 minutes of each other, then Tampa had theirs, followed by Hillsborough having a worker, and a decent size brush fire.
cfrtruck, Mileage wasn't too horrible, but then again I'm use to traveling all over the place up here in PA. lol
Got out on Thursday, managed to get a few rigs, even with car trouble. lol
District of Columbia is expecting delivery of numerous apparatus here in the future. So I ventured there. I managed to get Truck 11. I've given a run down below, of what is on order, and where they'll go to the best of my knowledge.
Oshkosh Striker for Foam 1
6 Pierce Arrow XT engines, which I'm being told at this point are going to the front line engines at water supply houses, due to having bigger pumps. That would be Engines 3, 11, 12, 16, 19, and 21.
Got out and about today with a few of the MD guys. Not a bad day, and made our way through 4 jurisdictions for photos. Here are just 2 of my photos. I'll leave the rest for them.
Great shots Jr, and what a great day, I think we ended up with about 35 shots for the day."well we did" you had to leave early. look forward to doing it again.
