State Of Conneticut
Kent lost Kent Engine 5-0 yesterday in a brush fire, many news articles are are online with photos of the truck in flames. I understand they lost an ambulance & station to flames several years ago. Here it is fighting another woods fire in July of 2010.

An important part of my apparatus slide collection are the large number of high quality Kodachrome slides taken by longtime friend Mark A.Redman (CFRTruck) from Connecticut. I would like to share these with the members of the group and Mark gave me permission to post the slides here at firepics. The majority are apparatus from Connecticut ( of course ) and I will start with some American LaFrance engines.
