Buying a new Brush this time or purchasing a used one again?

[/quote]

That is the $1,000,000 question, we are looking at all of our options... we have a guy who works for Volvo in their equipment rental section....he says that they have pick up trucks that get replaced regularly and that he might be able to get a pick up truck donated...granted it might be an 09 or something but that would work for as much as we would need it. If he is not able to come up with something, than we will look new.. I would really like to see a Dodge 3500 with the 6.7L Cummins but I don't think that will happen <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' /> Either way it will be a 4 door crew cab truck and the current skid unit will be transferred over to whatever we buy.

Have to do things a little different this time, when I am at work I can't access photobucket... sadly normally when I am work I am bored so there is no better time to update Firepics LOL. So I am going to have to do it one photo at a time just like in the old days (for me), hopefully you enjoy.

The guys from Carderock were very nice, they took the engine off the base and across the road to the Carderock Park for these pictures. If you can somehow manage to get into the facility, the guys at the fire department will treat you right. Supposedly Carderock and the Navy Shipyard company (Engine 42) will both be shutting down this year.

I told him this was coming and I meant it, I was out for this whole trip with Patrick Shoop Jr.... now before I embarress him (probably only a little bit though) let me praise him.. if it weren't for him you would NOT see nice shots from me. I am terrible at posing rigs and even worse at telling people to move the rigs because I set them up wrong.. Patrick is not.. he is normally pretty close when he poses one and if it isn't right he will ask them to move it again and again (while I cringe inside and wait for them to tell us to leave LOL). I have spent a lot of hours and miles with him and he is truely one of my best friends. Having said all of that here is my photograph of him that I took while he was photographing the Carderock engine, I wouldn't probably post this if it was just Patrick standing on a Little Giant Ladder.. but this is Patrick standing on CARDEROCK'S Little Giant Ladder that he commandeered from thier engine to get just the right shot. It isn't as epic as Hungrybus laying on his back to take a shot of DC Truck 3 from the outrigger plate's perspective but it is a pretty darn funny anyway!

Well, I was going to post the rest but I don't have the information for them quite yet <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue1.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue1' /> It is probably better anyway, I will post the rest from home where I can I do them using photobucket and make a reply for each company instead of each piece of apparatus. I am very happy with how the photos came out, they look great... now we need to exacute Part 2 of our plans LOL

Good photos of the Glenn Dale Fire Department rigs.

How much pleading did you have to do with Harve to get them out in the sun?? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Hysterical' />

No pleading this time John, we just didn't tell Harve we were going to do it... the paid guys couldn't get ahold of him to approve it.. so they just did as we asked <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />
