Wilmar MN, the largest city on Monday's trip operates from one station. I counted 5 Class A pumpers and a Tower Ladder, wth a combined capacity of 9250 GPM. When I asked about the capacity of the water system, the driver smiled and said that "we have a lot of lakes".

Just down the road from Willmar is Kandiyohi MN. While we were granted permission to move the trucks, we opted to find a FF in this small town. Judging by the difficulty that he had backing the trucks back in, we made the right choice. While I could not find any info on the tank builder, this has a look of a Pemna Tank, from North Dakota.

We were directed by the Kandiyohi FF to the town shops in Atwater MN, for our next stop. We did not find the name we were looking for, but the guy who helped us had a pager on, so we we fine with that. This was also one of the New Deliveries that we went out to shoot.

The last stop of the day was in Litchfield MN. We went to the lumber yard, to find the Chief, who was out on a delivery. The salesman got on the phone and called his brother, who is a FF, and proceeded to get into an argument with him. After a minute, he said that someone woulf be there in a couple minutes. It turns out that the FF who helped us recently had to load several of the departments tables and chairs for the Senior Center, and was afraid that he was getting punked by his brother into going to the Station to unload them.
I know, it was a long story, bu I thought that it was funny... E-3 1997 Pierce Saber 1250/500/65'Tsq EA615

Here is a group shot of Station 8's apparatus. E-8 is due to be replaced with a Spartan/Custom engine, that is in production. I thought that I had posted an earlier picture of one of these, but I don't see it. I will post another one.

Yesterday, I attended a Safety Day, on the other end of town. Eden Prairie MN has been able to replace their entire fleet in the past couple years. All the engines are identical, with 3 being 2005 models and 1 a 2006.
