East Paterson changed its name to Elmwood Park about 40 years ago. It's borders the City of Paterson's east side.

While it is true that Givaudan does produce flavors, I believe this plant in Clifton produces fragrances including perfumes. One of our police sergeants had a brother who worked there, often giving him sample bottles of various perfumes that he would then give out to family members as Christmas presents.
