MS Paint: Vintage Apparatus
|
An FDNY Relay Hose Wagon. FDNY utilized these during the WWII era in the event of water main damage during a major air attack on the city. Each of the five carried 3,000 feet of hose. They were converted ALF tillered aerials and were painted grey to make them less of a target for enemy planes. Credit to EMTChris67, Mayer22,and Fyreline.
Two more FDNY rigs, both on GMC chassis. A brush patrol and foam supply unit. Credits to EMTChris67, Mayer22, Ladder13, and Engine5161
Next former USAF Crash Rig is the O-6 CO2 truck.
To round out the USAF 1950's apparatus was the small but powerful - R-2. Based on a Dodge M35 Chassis, this would be the USAF Rescue Truck at every base until the 1970's.
Interesting to see some of the older and different pieces of equipment.
Good drawings! tHANKs

Amazing as always. It's nice to see the older trucks shown in MS Paint.
