One of the "targets" on the trip out was a new Pierce aerial at the Jackson-Ivers Airport near Jackson, MS. Being that it was also home to a unit of the Air National Guard, we couldn't get past security without a contact. We stopped at the nearest fire station, which was in Pearl. Chief Carl Kibby was most helpful in making arrangements and escorting us out to the airport fire station on the return trip the following Monday.
