Josh: A compliment, and a couple of questions & observations:

1) Your photography & information gathering has become outstanding over the last couple of years. I appreciate your enthusiasm & willingness to find out facts, you've become a good asset to the MN Fire Buff community.

2) Nice pix of SBM Truck 17...the only Seagrave Tiller in MN. I'm disappointed and a bit surprised how MN departments have gotten away from TDA's... IMO, St. Paul L10 (& maybe L's 18 & 20) ought to be a TDA, given the narrow & curvy streets in their district(s). I think suburbs like Edina, Minnetonka & Excelsior could benefit from a TDA on their roster...Bloomington has one, others with crazy streets should follow suit. I'd probably collapse from glee seeing a LA County-style Tiller Quint from KME or Smeal in the Twin Cities, or, better yet, if Rosenbauer stepped up to the tiller plate.

3) What is that warning light in the middle of the grille on the SBM Rescue?

4) What is the current status of Eagan's staffing & response protocol? How many day crew are they staffing? What is the criteria for Rescue 2 to roll & for the Pete day engine (E-2, I think?) Is there still an overnight vollie crew living in the station in exchange for room & board?

Thank you very much, i will try and answer as best as I can here.

#3 I Have no idea i am not really much knowing of lights or sirens i appologize,

#4. The Eagan Crew, I believe they are doing Day crew as well as the Staff live in. and i Guess it all kinda depends on the nature of the call if its a medical I think 3 people are jumping in the rescue truck, anything fire or Crash related i believe there takeing the new engine 2 the pete, forsure i wanna say there are at least 5-6 at station 2 at all times, so I know the new engine 2 seats 4 so im guessing if the call needs it they will run both the rescue and engine.

Oh yes and as for the tiller ladder 17 SBM, they are still trying to sell that truck and have been for a long long time.

What looks like the warning light in the middle of SBM Brush 10 is the Rosenbauer emblem.
