I didn't get hardly any specs here, but this isn't FireSpecs.net! Maybe some of you can help me fill in the blanks? Thanks!

My other pics of Grissettown-Longwood weren't that great. They are on my website under the "Other Counties, NC" album if you want to see them!
I wanted to shoot the entire fleet of Calabash, but every time I went down there (3 days straight) it was either too dark by the time I got there or it was raining. Maybe next time. I did catch these two eating lunch at a restaurant. Calabash, NC "1272" 1999 Spartan Gladiator/Saulsbury 1250/1500/25A S/N # 298089 "Pride of the Southend" Andrew Messer Photo (2011)

I also shot 8 relics in Myrtle Beach, but I believe they have been posted by different people a half dozen times. I was just happy to shoot them!
This is a terrible photo, but I wasn't about to drive down the "No Trespassing" posted driveway to get a closer pic. Wish this truck was still in service, it looks really nice! I found it along Hwy. 9 in Latta, SC. Center Rural FD of Norwood, NC "X Brush 50" 1980's Chevrolet C-30/Reading 250/250 Andrew Messer Photo (2011)
What trip would be complete without me shooting, yes go ahead and roll your eyes and laugh, an ambulance. If this one wasn't Tar Heels blue, I wouldn't have bothered. I just liked how cool it looked!

Last for now, but certainly not least is this ARFF rig. Micah gave me a heads up on this one, so I gotta give him credit for the find! I have zero specs, because this was taken with a telephoto lens through a chain-link fence. No way to get back in to where it was parked. It was obviously second-hand to Florence AP, but I'm not sure from where...
Florence Regional Airport of Florence, SC "Crash 2" 19?? Walters (no idea on the specs) X: ??? Metropolitan Airport "Crash 9" Andrew Messer Photo (2011)
It was originally a Wathers unit (I think one of a pair) that originally was purchased by the Columbia (SC) Metropolitan Airport. This one was refurbed by CRS and served Columbia a while longer before being acquired by Florence. The other twin was acquired by the Columbia FD and was long ago disposed of. This unit was relegated to reserve duty in the last year or two when Florence acquired another former CAE truck. It is a red Oshkosh T-1500 (I think) which is also a twin. Florence's other front-line piece is a mid-'80's commercial (Chevy, i think) E\-One that they acquired new.

Andrew - I don't believe that the Florence rig was Crash 9, I think it was the other one, but it was already gone when I took this photo. Crash 9 was the one that went to the City for a while.

Dave,
If you look closely at the Florence rig, you can see where the 9 was on the side.
Yes, I see the 9. Obviously, they had two rigs with the number 9. When I took that shot, that one was the only Walter there. It was already out of service and destined to be transferred to the City FD. The front line rigs were red Oshkosh T-1500's, 6 and 12. Maybe that was during the time that the twin was being refurbed. On a later trip, 12 was in reserve and the new 9 was a yellow T-1500 with a Snozzle.
Are we even for sure this truck ever served with Columbia? Maybe it's from another Metropolitan Airport where it ran as Crash 9 or Unit 9 or whatever...
