Another beautiful apparatus is # 128. This 1924 American La France 1000 GPM rotary gear pumper had a 40 gallon soda acid chemical tank and was the first rig acquired by the Last Resort Fire Department.

Leading the way up East Marginal Way is apparatus 198, "The Tow Trunk", a 1954 Seagrave trackor. The 100 foot aerial portion was totaled in a 1977 accident.

And bringing up the rear a 1950 KW 55 foot city service ladder truck, APP 181. 181 was finally back in service after an almost bank busting $20K engine replacement.

The Bellevue, WA Fire Dept. recently took delivery of five Pierce Arrow XT 1750x500 pumpers on Freightliner M2 chassis.



Engine 2, 2011 Pierce Shop # 3997, is located in the Eastgate section of Bellevue near the busy I90, and 148th Street SE corridor.

Eastside Fire and Rescue Engine 72 will be moving into their new quarters early this week along with an aid car and two brush trucks. It's located on the north end of Issaquah's multi level park and ride at State Route 900.
