Sold some time before the now X Engine 4-2 ( 1988 ) IIRC



Also on the subject of Blue Ridge Summit they have a new Seagrave engine ( dc spec ) already in service or ready to go into service. Plus there current 2003 Pierce Enforcer Rescue is for sale by sealed bid ending on Sept.10,2011.

The new engine 4-2, the rescue truck is going to stay with in the tri-county area around Blue Ridge Summit (Franklin, Adams, Washington) most likely.... I know of at least 1 company that put a bid on it, there is another company who wants to put a bid on it but shouldn't (Waynesboro) and there is 1 other company out by Philly that is looking at it (Jefferson)...most likely it will end up in Adams County though.
